The Cincinnati State Golf Team won the Division III Region 12 Regional Golf Tournament this past weekend at Bent Tree Golf Course in Sunbury, OH.  The Surge knocked off the currently ranked 6th place team in the country, Columbus State by 2 strokes. 

Leading the Surge was Joe Morris who was the OCCAC Medalist in 2006.  Joe shot an 84, 74 and 75 in the rain soaked three rounds of Regionals to help pull the Surge to victory. 

Also competing in this years Regional Tournament for the Surge (in order of finish) was Ben Asbach who finished 6th overall, Ben Meiner  7th, Jeremy Stacy 18th, Jared Wong 20th and Nathan Williams 22nd.  Coach Scott Webb was named Region 12 Coach of the Year.  Joe Morris and Ben Asbach were named to the Division 12 All Region Team
