
Daniel Kuntz
Soccer has been a major part of Coach Daniel Kuntz’s life for 30 years! Daniel began his soccer career as a forward/goalkeeper for his local SAY team and has continued non-stop through to his current position with Cincinnati State.
Daniel’s most recent activities have been varied:
-District goalkeeper trainer/evaluator for Ohio South ODP for approx. 3.5 years.
-Head coach for various boys teams with Beechmont Soccer Club and Team Cincy Soccer Club since approx. 2000.
-Keeper trainer for Klass soccer program in Northern Kentucky since spring of 2004.
-U10 and younger coach in the Madeira soccer program.
-Various spot training for both keepers and teams throughout Cincinnati.
In the past, Daniel has:
-Trained goalkeepers for various clubs and teams.
-Assisted coaching with various youth teams in different programs in greater Cincinnati.
-Assistant coach/JV coach McNicholas High School in fall of 1989.
-Head soccer counselor at Tripp Lake Camp, ME in the summers of ’84, ’85 and “86.
Daniel has also earned the following licenses/certificates:
-USSF “D” license
-NSCAA “State Goalkeeping” license
Daniel has been a player since 1976 non-stop:
-Indian Hill HS 1978-1980, second team all conference goalkeeper in the EHL.
-Miami University 1981, walk-on goalkeeper.
-Team Catanaccio in local amateur soccer league.
-Currently plays in various men’s leagues throughout Cincinnati on several different evenings, both indoor and outdoor.
When not involved with soccer, Daniel makes mortgages for Morgan Financial Services where he has been a mortgage loan originator since 1993.
