Associate of Sciences

 

 

 

The ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCES degree provides the first two years toward bachelor's degree programs in fields such as biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, and pre-professional fields such as dentistry, education, engineering, medicine, pharmacy, or veterinary medicine.

 

The students are encouraged to determine career goals as well as educational goals.  Through the cooperative education program students will be matched with career opportunities in the community that will give them the chance to experience their chosen career while they are still in college.

 

Graduates will be prepared to:

Transfer to a four-year college or university to complete their bachelor's degrees and possible advanced degrees in chosen fields.

Co-op Salaries:

Students participating in co-op earned salaries ranging from $6.50 an hour to $12.00 an hour.  Some placements are unpaid internships.
