The certificate in EMPLOYEE and LABOR RELATIONS recognizes the student who successfully completes a program of courses from the Social Sciences and Business curricula. These courses will help students develop competencies in the area of Employee and Labor Relations. The focus of the coursework is on human behavior, vital management/leadership skills and the rights and responsibilities of the employee and the employer. The student will be prepared to face the complex social, economic and legal issues in the American workplace.

Professions such as these will require a minimum of a bachelor's degree, so students must be willing to complete an associate degree and transfer to a four-year institution.
Students will be required to complete 46 credit hours of classes, 12 required courses and 3 electives based on personal need and interest.
