Distance Education

Distance Education provides another means to meet the needs of our diverse student population.  Course lectures and instructional materials are made available to students through web-based instruction and CD, video or audio media.

Instructors of distance education courses may require on campus class meetings at announced times (such as course orientation, midterm exam, and final exam).  All distance education course instructors are available to answer student questions either in person or by phone during their scheduled student contact hours throughout the term.

Areas of study in which courses may be available include accounting, biology, business principles, landscape horticulture, law, engineering and information technologies, health information management, multi-competency health, and office technology.

The Registration Office publishes a listing of all courses available prior to the beginning of each term.  Students who are interested in the scheduling flexibility provided by Distance Education should contact the Office of the Dean of the division which offers the courses. Or . . .
