THE BLACK MALE INITIATIVE AT-PROMISE SUMMIT
The Cincinnati State Black Male Initiative At- Promise Summit is a series of four community summits focused on improving educational and career outcomes for African-American males in Cincinnati and the region.
The goal of the summits is to engage the community to create a sustained, systematic effort to improve outcomes for African American males, moving our focus from individuals who are at risk to individuals who are At-Promise!
The first summit is scheduled for Thursday, October 23, 2008 in the Conference Center at Cincinnati State, 3520 Central Parkway. The opening session will begin with a working lunch at 11:30AM and conclude by 5:00PM.
There is no cost to attend the summit, but due to limited space, registration is required. Participants may register at Cincinnati State on the day of the conference, but are encouraged to pre-register on-line in order to be assured of securing their place at this inaugural event.
