TUTORING SERVICES

TUTORING In Math and Reading For Children K-8th Grade

  • Benefits of using Cincinnati State:
  • Will provide tutoring at a safe agreed upon location before school or after school and weekends.
  • Will provide one-on-one tutoring or groups up to 3:1 ratio.
  • Will provide technology based tutoring using “My Skills Tutor”
    aligned with Ohio Content Standards and available for home use for up to one year.
  • State approved for No Child Left Behind since 2003 and
    member of National Tutoring Association.
  • Bi-lingual tutors available.

Cincinnati State Supplemental Tutoring Services

Wanted:    Dynamic, energetic, tutors for tutoring services grades K-8. Must love kids and be able to work with school teachers, parents and students.

 Qualifications:    

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, Associates Degree Required
  • Good communication skills with adults and children
  • Punctual and on time with meetings and deadlines
  • Have own transportation
  • Flexible schedule
  • Computer literate
  • Be able to work with web based tutoring program
  • Be able to conduct student assessments
  • Be able to write on line bi-weekly progress reports and monthly reports
  • On line Attendance

All tutors are required to have a FBI/Police Check and will be tested for their knowledge in Reading and Math.

 Pay based on experience starting at $15.00 hour
