Catalog course description:
This course is designed to assist organizational managers, emergency response coordinators, safety specialists, and human resource managers involved in facility emergency and disaster response planning. This course covers the basic emergency response plans required by OSHA, USEPA, USDOT and USCG. This course will provide the attendee the basic knowledge on what plans are required for their organization and how to research and develop these plans. In addition this course will review business continuity & recovery operations in the event that your organizational facility is damaged and no longer functioning.

Explain the key elements in a Business Continuity & Recovery Plan

Course Outcomes:
A competent individual who can develop and implement the applicable emergency and disaster response plans for a facility or organization. The individual will possess the ability to research the appropriate federal regulations and guidelines.
