Cincinnati State Workforce Development Center offers a wide range of comprehensive training in the areas of:

• Hazardous Material Response (HAZMAT) Awareness to Technical level
• Occupational Safety & Health  (General Industry and Construction Industry)
• Technical Rescue Training

Our instructors are authorized OSHA outreach trainers in the areas of General Industry & Construction. Our HAZMAT and Technical rescue instructors are career firefighters that are members of the Greater Cincinnati HAZMAT Unit and the Ohio Task Force One Urban Search & Rescue Team. Our goal is to provide the customer the highest level of quality instruction and course materials.

Our campus is located in Evendale, Ohio. We have dedicated classrooms and labs to support all levels of this type of training. We are fully equipped to conduct all levels of a HAZMAT and Technical Rescue training. We have a two story confined space & scaffold trainer, spill drill training areas, air monitoring labs and a decontamination exercise area.

On-site and customized training is available. The HAZMAT, Rescue Safety program has the ability to conduct on-site training that is customized to the organization’s specific needs. We have developed and conducted on-site HAZMAT, Rescue & Safety (OSHA) training that has specifically incorporated site safety and emergency plans.

Professional Development

Cincinnati State Technical & Community College has developed two College Certificate programs that will assist safety and emergency response professionals in their career development.

• Hazardous Material Incident Management (Disaster Response Planning) Certificate
