Healthcare and Public
Safety

As our region’s healthcare system continues to be a successful, scientific frontier for medical advances and our public safety professional departments face new and more complex challenges, the workplace demands for all levels of both new and incumbent employee education and training are continually increasing.  Cincinnati State is responding to the current and projected workforce needs through academic program expansion on the main campus and workforce development programming at the Evendale campus. Education and training programs are delivered on-site, at the healthcare and public safety employers’ facilities.

The Cincinnati State Workforce Development Center collaborates with the College’s Health and Public Safety Division in a variety of partnerships with other educational institutions, hospitals and medical facilities, healthcare systems, professional associations, governmental entities, business and industry, and community organizations, to provide seminars, workshops and customized on-site education and training, for healthcare and public safety professionals, as well as the general public.
