Are you interested in a challenging and rewarding career in a high demand profession? A career in Health or Public Safety may be just for you. The Health and Public Safety Division at Cincinnati State brings together in one unit all programs for the education and training of health and public safety personnel as well as the department of Biological Sciences. The division offers associate degree and certificate programs which are clinically intensive and prepare students for professional positions immediately upon graduation.
The Biological Sciences department offers a full range of courses to meet program needs and transfer requirements toward Bachelor’s Degrees. All health and public safety programs are accredited or approved by the appropriate professional association; therefore students completing the program are eligible to apply to take the certification examination.
Due to accreditation requirements, all health and public safety programs include unpaid clinical practice and may not include cooperative employment.
