Associate Degrees, Certificates, Associate Degree Programs, and Student Services.
The HUMANITIES AND SCIENCES DIVISIONS offer technical associate degree and certificate programs and the Associate of Arts and Associate of Sciences Degrees.
Graduates of technical programs are prepared for immediate employment in their fields of study. Many choose to continue their education for bachelor's degrees - some studying full-time and others studying part-time while following a career. Technical degree program curricula include paid cooperative education experiences.
The Associate of Arts and Associate of Sciences Degrees, often called "university parallel degrees," provide the first two years to a bachelor's degree. Their purpose is to prepare students for transfer to a four-year college or university. It is important that students know the bachelor's degree requirements of any institution where they will be transferring. Curricula in the Arts and Sciences include work experience/career exploration.
The Humanities and Sciences Divisions also provide the basic general education coursework required in all Cincinnati State degree programs.
