The THEATRE ARTS at Cincinnati State offers courses in theatre arts in a variety of formats, taught by gifted faculty with many years of practical experience as Theatre professionals:

Ÿ     college courses for credit (3 hours a week for 9 weeks): many of these can be transferred to four-year colleges;

Ÿ     college courses which can be audited, for students not concerned with grades;
Ÿ     workshops in specialized topics, running from 3 hours to 15 hours on weekends or evenings.

Ÿ    students enrolled in degree or certificate programs at Cincinnati State;
Ÿ    high school students desiring theatrical training not available in their high schools (during the school year, these courses are free under the Post-Secondary Enrollment Option);
Ÿ    high school drama teachers desiring additional instruction or Continuing Education Units (CEU's) in Theatre;
Ÿ    community theatre members desiring to improve their skills on stage as performers; back stage as designers, directors, stage managers, or technical crew; or in the front office, taking care of business.
