services and College policies

E-Mail Communication:

Students (including non-degree students) can access their Cincinnati State e-mail accounts after login to MYCSTATE.  Cincinnati State considers e-mail to be an official form of College communication.  It is the student’s responsibility to regularly check Cincinnati State e-mail for notices about registration, billing, grade reports, emergency notices and more.

Student ID Card:

Non-degree students are encouraged to obtain a Cincinnati State student ID card.  Referred to as the “SurgeCard,” the card identifies the student as a Cincinnati State student and entitles the student free or reduced rate admission to certain Cincinnati State events and activities.

The Surge Card also serves as a parking pass for students who have purchased the parking privilege for the term.  In addition, it can serve as a debit card for students who transfer funds to their SurgeCard.

The Student Activities Office, Room204 Advanced Technology Learning Center, (513) 569-5747, prepares and distributes the SurgeCard.

Parking:

Student parking is available in campus garages and lots on a “per day” and on a “per term” basis.  Term parking privileges can be purchased through the mySERVICES web site.
