What should I expect during the first counseling session?

The purpose of the first meeting with a counselor is to determine,through discussion, the nature of your concern, to review various options and to mutually agree upon a plan of action.

Will anyone else find out what I talk to my counselor about?

Services are confidential. What  goes on between a  counselor and a student is private. Information about you will not be released to anyone without your written permission. Any exceptions to the rule will be explained to the student if services are provided. 

Who provides services at the Counseling Office?

The staff consists of full-time and adjunct professional counselors. Master's degree interns who are under the supervision of a professional staff also provide services.

What kinds of concerns are brought to the Counseling Office?

The counseling staff deals with a wide range of personal concerns and offers various methods to meet your needs.

How do I make and appointment to see a counselor?

Appointments may be made by calling 513.569.1552 or by coming to the Counseling Office in Room 168 in the Main Building.

Who is eligible for counseling services?

Services are free to enrolled students.
