JAWS for Windows®:

JAWS for Windows® is a computer application that screen reads and magnifies for blind and visually impaired computer users.  Users of JAWS will have computer skill levels that range from beginner to expert.  Blind or visually impaired users can listen while it speaks the selected topics.

 

Zoomtext® Magnifier/Screenreader:

Zoomtext® is a computer application that can magnify the screen contents 2x to 16x.  Innovative color settings let users change screen colors for improved clarity and reduced eyestrain.

 

Dragon Naturally Speaking Essentials:

Dragon Naturally Speaking is a computer application that works by voice commands.  Users are able to edit an existing document or create a new document by simple speak commands.  Other features allow the user to navigate the web and control the mouse by speaking.

The Kurzweil 3000 Educational System is the premiere reading, writing, and learning software for struggling students.  All of the features of Kurzweil 3000 are designed to extend the essential learning process by reinforcing mastery of subject material through repetition, definition, outlining and annotation, and by allowing users to work as efficiently and independently as possible.

The Romeo 25 Braille Embosser with the Duxbury Translator Software will turn text into Braille, so class notes and textbooks are accessible to the blind or visually impaired student.
