The Engineering Technologies Division prepares its graduates to successfully enter and pursue baccalaureate degrees, and to enter and advance professionally through technical and mid-management positions in local industry.

Cincinnati State has long been a leader in providing area industry with highly-educated engineering technicians. Graduates in engineering technologies are heavily recruited by employers because of the specialized technological knowledge they have acquired along with basic math and science theory and sound communication skills. Cooperative education is a cornerstone of the educational process in the Engineering Technologies Division. Hands-on work experience in real work environments brings to life the instruction students receive in classrooms and laboratories on campus. Graduates whose resumes show cooperative education experiences have a head start towards advanced technical careers and are considered for mid-management positions.
