Your Electronic Award

Dear Students:

 

Cincinnati State’s Office of Financial Aid is proud to announce the implementation of YEA (Your Electronic Award).  We have been working very hard to provide you with the best service possible as it relates to processing your financial aid award. 

 

It is very important that you begin utilizing your Cincinnati State (CS) email address that has been set up for you.  You will be notified of any awards, changes to awards, along with other valuable information via your CS email address.  You can access your email address through the myCSTATE tab*.  Below are instructions on how to access your award (if your file has been processed, and you are found to be eligible). 

 

Go to www.cincinnatistate.edu

Click on MyCState

Login to MyCState

(If you have difficulties logging in, please contact the Help Desk at 513-569-1234)

Click on the MyServices Tab

Click on YEA, under Financial Aid

Use your Opennet User ID and Password*

If you do not remember your username and password: 

Click on “Forgot username and password”

All information MUST match what Sallie Mae has on file

*If you do not have an Opennet User ID and Password:  

Click on “Register Now”

All information MUST match at Cincinnati State has on file for you

PLEASE NOTE: You will NOT be able to log in if your award is NOT ready.

If you have any difficulty logging in (to YEA/OPENNET) or creating your password, please contact Sallie Mae client services at 1-877-477-7537, option 1.

You will still continue to receive an email anytime your initial award is ready or when there is a change to your award.
