Registering as a Non-Degree

Students and community members may take classes at Cincinnati State without being formally admitted to a degree or certificate program.

 

Prospective students can enroll for non-degree classes following these easy steps:

  2. See what classes are offered and choose what to take.
  3. What classes can I take that do not require prerequisites?
  4. Register by submitting the Non-degree Personal Data Form.
  5. See whether there are any prerequisites and/or if testing or instructor consent is needed for the desired courses.
  6. Figure out costs, how to pay and what assistance is available.
  7. Become familiar with student services and College policies.

Credit earned may apply to degree or certificate requirements if a student later decides to seek admission. The College is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
