HVAC TECHNICIAN (2nd shift position)

Duties:  Operate, maintain, and repair all heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment in the power plant and related equipment throughout the main bujilding, HPB, Cincinnati West, and Cincinnati North facilities.  Responsible for operation of high voltage feed and transfer systems, preventive maintenance program, and energy management system programs.

Requirements:  High school education required; associate degree preferred.  Three years of experience on boilers, chillers, pneumatic/electric controls, pumps, and HVAC equipment.

Minimum Starting Salary:  $18.60 hr./$19.54 hr. after probationary period (+ $.75 hr. 2nd shift differential)

ADVISING SPECIALIST (50% Position/Grant Funded)

Duties:  Assist first-generation/low-income participants prepare for and succeed in post-secondary education.  Recruit and identify eligible participants.  Keep accurate record of participant contacts and services provided.  Set up workshops designed to help participants be successful in high school and college.

Requirements:  Minimum of a bachelor's degree in education, counseling or other related field; master's degree preferred.  Three years of experience with at-risk population.  Experience should also include working with low-income, first-generation populations with academic needs.

Minimum Starting Salary:  $17,586 annually/50% Paid Benefits

INTERPRETER/ITP ASSISTANT

Duties:  Responsible for interpreting and transliterating for deaf students, faculty, and staff members (20 to 30 hours of interpreting weekly).  Mentors practicum students.  Responsible for assisting the Chair of the Interpreter Training Program.

Requirements:  Associate degree from an Interpreter Training Program required.  Certified interpreter/transliterator preferred.  (Must be a qualified interpreter/transliterator.)

UNIX SYSTEMS ANALYST

Duties:  Overall management and technical support for UNIX systems.  Functions include management of host hardware, software and output, security procedures, disaster recovery, user account management, and database performance management.  Assist in managing the College Storage Area Network (SAN) for UNIX and Windows hosts.

Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in computer information and database technologies, or equivalent experience required.  Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred.  Three years of experience in UNIX systems administration preferably with AIX, Tru64, and/or HP-UX.  Three years of experience directly developing or supporting an integrated database Enterprise Resource Management System required.  Experience with DATATEL and UniData systems administration, including WebAdvisor, and extensive familiarity with DATATEL's Colleague systems preferred.  Programming background, experience with scripting using PERL, UNIX shell or similar languages preferred.

Salary:  $44,533 annually
