Hospitality Management

 

 

 

The Hospitality Management Department offers courses of study in, Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts,  Food Service Management, Hotel Management and Dietetics that lead to an associate’s degree. Students attending the college on a full-time basis can complete degree requirements in two years. Day and evening classes are available. 

We are in the midst of a culinary explosion! We have become a nation of culinary enthusiasts and the demand for state-of-the-art culinary programs with exciting and qualified instructors is at an all time high. Cincinnati State serves as a home to the Midwest Culinary Institute and attracts students regionally, nationally and internationally. Students earn an associate degree in Culinary Arts and are eligible for admission into the University of Cincinnati Bachelor of Applied Science in Culinary Arts and Science program.

Graduates will be prepared to:
• supervise food service operation
• assume responsibilities in hotel front office, housekeeping and sales
• prepare wide array of cuisines
• perform technical aspects of baking and pastry
