This certificate is comprised of 13 courses designed to provide comprehensive construction safety education for field supervisors, project managers, and other construction personnel. The knowledge obtained in this certificate regarding site safety, plan development, risk management, legal considerations, and regulatory requirements will benefit those currently involved in project management as well as those desiring new opportunities within this field. Students will have the opportunity to earn various designations throughout this certificate including the OSHA 10 and 30 hour cards. This certificate is managed by the Civil Engineering Technology program and is offerred in the evening to accommodate those who are working in the industry. Generally, two courses are offerred each term so that the certificate can be obtained in just over a year. Credits earned in the certificate can be applied to other associate degree programs offerred at Cincinnati State including the Building Technology (ATS) degree and the Civil Engineering Technology (AAS) degree.
