Electrical Engineering Technologies - Electronics Engineering Technology
Electronics Engineering Technology allows students to pursue careers in diversified areas: computer design and repair, digital systems, microcomputer systems, microelectronics and telecommunications. During the second year of study, students have a unique opportunity to tailor the curriculum to address their chosen career path. By selecting from a host of prescribed core classes, students will focus on one of several specialties.
Graduates will be prepared to:
• work as electronics technician
• assist engineers with equipment design and fabrication
• troubleshoot and test electronic equipment
• work in research and development
• use measuring & software tools to test/maintain equipment
• run tests and prepare specifications
• perform customer service: installation,
maintenance and operation of equipment
• work with computer hardware and software
• work as field service technician
