In an emergency situation, proper pre-hospital care can mean the difference between life and death. Whether it’s administering aid to the victim of an auto accident, or providing care to a person having a heart attack, trained Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics play a vital role in the administration of care in the pre-hospital setting. A student at Cincinnati State can receive training at both levels, and perform life-saving procedures daily.
Program prerequisites: DE 0011, BLS Health Care Provider CPR.
All certificate-seeking students must complete the course CAR 9002 College Success Strategies as part of the first 18 credit hours taken at Cincinnati State.
