The Multi-Competent Health Technician program offers a flexible, innovative curriculum designed to meet the needs of a changing healthcare marketplace. Students will be educated to perform multiple functions in more than one discipline while working towards the completion of an associate's degree.
This associate's degree program allows students to select from several areas of study. Students select a minimum of 34 credit hours in certificate options available through the Health and Public Safety and Business Technologies Divisions or Workforce Development, 21 credit hours of general education, 24 credit hours of core math/science, and 20 credit hours of core technical coursework.
Graduates will be prepared for
Graduates work in acute care hospitals, sub acute care centers, ambulatory care setting and community health care centers in the area of one or more of their completed certificates.
