Paramedics are the highest level of pre-hospital care providers that rush to our sides in times of need.  They are specially trained in areas of:  advanced cardiac life support, patient assessment, administration of life saving medications, rescue, medical emergencies, and trauma intervention. As a trained paramedic, you will respond to a variety of calls for assistance. Working under either the direction of a physician via telephone or standing orders, or direct supervision in the hospital setting, you will perform life-saving procedures at the scene of an emergency, in the back of an ambulance enroute to the hospital, or in the Emergency Room.
