This training provides basic restorative skills to the STNA working in long term care. The certificate provides the opportunity to be employed in the restorative nursing program working with residents to regain their highest level of functioning in Activities of Daily Living. The course also covers basic reporting and documentation skills needed.
**The student must have successfully completed the Nurse Aide Training Program.
Late Fall term - Class will be held on December 4, 6, 11 and 13, 2007 on the Main Campus: 5:30 - 9:30 p.m., (these are the only 4 days required for the class). MCH 4813-KA is the course number. Permission to register for the course may be obtained in the Health and Public Safety Division (Room 312 of the Health Professions Building) after filling out the application below.
