The Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State is built on a thirty-year tradition of culinary education excellence. Cincinnati State has taken that distinction to build a national center for entry-level associate's degree and certificate culinary education, continuing education for the baccalaureate degree, professional development opportunities and non-credit community classes. All of these programs take place in Cincinnati State's 218,00 square foot Advanced Technology & Learning Center.
The world class corporations that make Cincinnati their home expect internationally distinctive hospitality services. They and their corporate partners are not disappointed. Cincinnati's restaurants have received national and world-wide recognition. One is even the longest-running Mobil five-star restaurant.
Cincinnati State and the University of Cincinnati are now offering a dual-enrollment culinary arts degree. Students spend the first two years at Cincinnati State, then continue at both Cincinnati State and the University of Cincinnati to obtain a bachelor's degree in Culinology.
