Motorist Assistance Program

The Department of Public Safety Motorist Assistance Program offers limited assistance with routine vehicular problems, such as dead batteries and keys locked in cars.  Due to insurance restrictions, this service can only be offered to individuals parked on Cincinnati State property.

To request Motorist Assistance, please call (513) 569-1558.  You may also use the “Info” button on one of the Blue Light Emergency Telephones located throughout campus.

The Motorist Assistance Program is provided free-of-charge and is available 24-hours a day to all Cincinnati State students, faculty and staff.

Locker Assistance

The Department of Public Safety offers locker assistance to faculty, staff and students who have forgotten their combination or lost their keys.  Please note that this assistance often requires that the lock be cut off of the locker. 

Requests for locker assistance should be made at the Public Safety office, Room 7 of the main building, or by calling extension 1558 [(513) 569-1558 if calling from an outside telephone].   A signed release form is required prior to any lock being cut off of a locker.

Please note that the Department of Public Safety does not assign usage of a locker.  Use of a locker is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Any open locker is available for use by a faculty or member, or a student. 

Campus Escort Service

The Cincinnati State Department of Public Safety Escort Service is designed to enhance safety and peace of mind for anyone who feels unsafe while walking alone on campus.

To request an escort, please call the Public Safety office at (513) 569-1558.  You may also press the “Info” button on any of the Blue Light Emergency Telephones located throughout the campus.

The Escort Service is provided free-of-charge and is available 24-hours a day to all Cincinnati State students, faculty and staff.

Lost and Found

The Cincinnati State Lost and Found is located in the Public Safety office, Room 7 of the main building.

The phone number for lost and found is (513) 569-1558.

The Lost and Found is open between 7am and 10pm, Monday through Friday.  Property is kept for 30 days and you must provide proof of identification to retrieve lost property.  Property not claimed after 30 days is discarded.
