Chancellor Jim Petro to visit Cincinnati State on Friday

The new Chancellor of the Ohio Board of Regents, Jim Petro, is scheduled to visit Cincinnati State Technical and Community College at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Friday, April 8.
Petro will take a brief tour of the campus, then meet privately with President O’dell M. Owens and Michael Oestreicher, Chairman of the Cincinnati State Board of Trustees, as well as members of the College’s executive team.
Petro was named Chancellor by Gov. John R. Kasich effective March 14.

Petro is a graduate of Denison University in Granville, Ohio, and Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland. A former Cuyahoga County Commissioner and member of the Ohio General Assembly, he served as Ohio Auditor of State from 1995-2002 and as Ohio Attorney General from 2003-2006.
