Cincinnati State to host academic competition

WHO
High school students from Cincinnati Country Day, Finneytown, Indian Hill, Madeira, Mariemont, Wyoming, Reading, Summit Country Day, Seven Hills, North College Hill and Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy.
WHAT
Eleven local high schools will compete at Cincinnati State in the Cincinnati Academic League (CAL) Tournament. The question/answer style competition will feature students at the varsity and reserve levels, with varsity level students competing for a chance to move on to the Ohio Academic Competition in April. Students will answer questions on a variety of subjects ranging from math, science and literature to mythology, spelling and history.

9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Final round of the varsity competition will begin at 11:10 a.m. in Room 302.
