Cincinnati State will host Naturalization Ceremony on Friday, May 6

May 3, 2011

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College will host a naturalization ceremony on Friday, May 6 from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in its Conference Center (Room 342, Main Building).

U.S. District Court Judge Michael Barrett is scheduled to swear in between 75 and 100 new citizens, in what has become an annual event at Cincinnati State. In past years, more than 300 future citizens, family members and friends have come to campus for the ceremony.

This year’s event will include performances by the International Folk Dancers of Cincinnati, the Fifth Grade Choir from Our Lady of Visitation School and Cincinnati State staff member Marcia Caulton (a vocalist), as well as refreshments for the families.

The naturalization ceremony is sponsored by the International Student Advisory Board (ISAB) and the Humanities and Sciences Divisions at the College.
