Cincinnati State spends the day “clowning around”

With spring in the air and everyone in the mood for some fun, Cincinnati State’s student activities branch recently sponsored a “Clowning Around Day’’ on campus.
Student Activities Director Brenda Maples-Sterry certainly did her part, organizing activities in a way that proved her devotion to the cause. The entertainment included a free, customized and silly T-shirt, wobbly Tri-cycles for grownups, balloons and face painting for children of all ages, a band and, of course, food.
But the biggest attraction, as you’ll see from the photos on the next page, was probably the water balloon booth. For a small fee (that went to a good cause) participants could buy the chance to splash faculty members, students and administrators.
