Cincinnati State to award six honors scholarships

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College will formally award six Honors Experience scholarships during a ceremony May 28.
The 2009 scholarships – which cover the full cost of tuition, fees and books -- will be awarded to:
- Michael Brizzi, Loveland High School, who plans to pursue an associate of arts degree through the Division of Humanities and Sciences.
- Kelsey Forsee, Bethel-Tate High School, who plans to pursue a degree in multi-media from Cincinnati State’s Center for Innovative Technologies.
- Jacob Jones, Glen Este High School, who plans to pursue an associate of science degree through the Division of Humanities and Sciences.
- Alyssa Roll, Lakota West High School, who plans to major in graphic design through the Center for Innovative Technologies.
- Martha Tiffany, Walnut Hills High School, who plans to major in culinary arts through a dual admission program with Cincinnati State’s Midwest Culinary Institute and the University of Cincinnati.
- Anthony Webb, Grant Career Center, Bethel, who plans to major in mechanical engineering technologies.
The scholarship awards ceremony is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 28 in the auditorium of the Advanced Technology Learning Center on Cincinnati State’s Clifton campus.
