Institute for Social Media adds new members to Advisory Committee
Next three-day “Marketing for Social Media” class starts Sept. 23
The Institute for Social Media at Cincinnati State has added six new members to its Advisory Committee.
The committee includes individuals whose expertise spans social media, business, public, private and non-profit organizations. Members are charged with helping to direct the Institute’s certification programming; they also provide guidance regarding the overall program, the evolving curriculum, and Institute membership based on College, community, and business needs.
New to the Advisory Committee are:

The Institute for Social Media is a partnership between Cincinnati State, Boot Camp Digital, and O’Keeffe PR & Marketing Solutions. Its goal is to help participants learn the most advanced techniques available for leveraging social media to achieve business success. Programs are offered in Marketing and Business Development. New programs under development include Social Media for Educators, Social Media for Human Resource Professionals and the Legal Impact of Social Media in the Workplace, along with short courses in marketing and sales.
Although it is designed with business professionals in mind, the Institute’s programs are open to anyone interested in the practical application of social media. Each program includes classroom instruction, homework, student evaluation and testing, as well as lunch each day.
