Jean Manning named VP for Marketing and Communications

Jean Manning has been appointed vice president for marketing and communications at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and is the first new member of the team that Dr. O’dell Owens is putting together to cast and achieve his vision for the College .
A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Manning holds a master's degree in international studies from George Washington University and a graduate certificate in arts administration from American University in Washington, D.C.
Her background includes marketing, fundraising, film production, business development, government and community relations in Greater Cincinnati, Columbus and Los Angeles. Manning's most recent position was as the Southwest Ohio Regional Finance Director for Gov. Ted Strickland's re-election campaign, where she increased contributions in an anti-incumbent election year by over 40 percent from the 2006 campaign.
From 1997-2009 she worked as an independent consultant for a variety of businesses in retail, film, internet-based and non-profit organizations in marketing and new business development. Manning has also worked on several feature films in Cincinnati, St. Louis, Los Angeles and New York. She lives in Indian Hill with her husband, Darin Manning, and two children, Dylan and Lucas Gould.
