Scholarship Golf Outing will benefit Cincinnati State students
September 16, 2010
Friends of Cincinnati State Technical and Community College will tee up Monday, Sept. 20 at the Western Hills Country Club to raise funds for student scholarships.
In years past this event has funded scholarships for more than 50 Cincinnati State students. Even though Cincinnati State’s tuition is about half that of other schools in the region, approximately 70 percent of its students require financial assistance.
In addition to fees from golfers who are participating in the outing, the Scholarship Golf Classic raises funds through sponsorships and a silent auction. Because the golfers’ fees cover all overhead costs for the event, all sponsorship revenues go directly toward scholarships and are thus fully tax deductible. All registered golfers will receive a $100 gift certificate to The Summit Restaurant at the Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State.
A limited number of openings for golfers remain available. For more information about the golf outing, please click here or contact Elliott Ruther at (513) 569-4699 or email.
