Tentative agreement reached

The administration of Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and its faculty union, the American Association of University Professors (AAUP), have reached a tentative agreement on a new contract. No details will be available on the three-year contract until it is ratified by both sides.

The AAUP voted Saturday morning to approve the agreement. It also rescinded the strike notice.

The College’s Board of Trustees is expected to vote on the contract at its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at 5:30 p.m. in the college’s conference center.
