Workforce Development Center Plans Middletown Open House May 16
Cincinnati State’s Workforce Development Center will host an Open House at its Middletown Campus on Thursday, May 16 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.

The event will function as an exchange of information about training, development and collaboration opportunities in the Middletown area. Regional employers, economic development professionals and workforce development staff have been invited to the event.

The keynote speaker will be Tracy Intihar, Director of the Office of Workforce Transformation for Gov. John Kasich.

Cincinnati State’s Workforce Development Center (WDC), headquartered in the Cincinnati suburb of Evendale, recently opened a full-time office at the Middletown campus (1 North Main Street, Middletown, OH 45042) under the direction of Business Manager James Bax.

The WDC provides specialized training to corporate clients as well as governmental agencies, non-profits and other organizations. These services are offered at the Evendale and Middletown locations or may be arranged on-site. Areas of expertise include health and safety regulation, manufacturing operations and maintenance, energy management and health care management.

The WDC also offers retail classes open to the general public in subjects ranging from social media to machine maintenance.

Press coverage of the May 16 Open House is welcome. For information on the day of the event, please contact Middletown WDC Business Manager James Bax at (513) 237-7144.
