The ninth annual “1 Night, 12 Kitchens” event at Cincinnati State’s Midwest Culinary Institute will be held Sunday, April 21.
Launched in 2005, 1 Night, 12 Kitchens brings scores of the region’s top chefs to campus to join MCI’s teaching faculty and students to raise money for culinary scholarships. Guests will have the opportunity to wander through Cincinnati State’s teaching kitchens and watch the chefs and students as they prepare appetizers, main course dishes, salads and desserts – then sample the results, as well as the wines that will be on offer.
1 Night, 12 Kitchens has emerged as one of the most popular culinary events in Greater Cincinnati. This helps explain why the 2013 edition has been sold out for more than a month.
Since 2005, 1 Night 12 Kitchens has raised more than $420,000 for student scholarships.
The event will open to premium ticket holders at 5 p.m., and to those with general admission at 6 p.m., and will last until 9 p.m.
