Admission for International Students
Cincinnati State’s international student population represents nearly 100 countries, and typically accounts for about 5 percent of the College's overall enrollment. We believe the exposure to so many different perspectives and cultural backgrounds enhances the educational experience of all students at Cincinnati State. Meanwhile, international students often find that they develop a strong network of friends and colleagues at Cincinnati State.
The International Student Affairs Office (ISAO) at Cincinnati State provides immigration services, internal and external referral services, and information about admission, housing, health insurance, study abroad, and other matters. The ISAO also advises international students on matters related to the campus environment, maintaining immigration status, I-20 forms, change of status requests, and employment authorizations.
The International Student Association (ISA) at Cincinnati State increases cultural awareness between international students and American students at Cincinnati State. The ISA also helps students acclimate to the campus culture and provides a comfortable environment for anyone on campus interested in international affairs. Membership in the ISA is open to any Cincinnati State, and includes participation in cultural and social activities.
