Where am I in the admission process?
If you are an international student, here is a list of the steps to be taken in the admission process. As each one is completed, check it off:
o I submitted my application online.
o I provided a copy of my high school diploma equivalency in its original language and translated into English.
o If I wish to transfer college/university coursework from abroad, I have arranged to have my transcript(s) translated and evaluated by an official credential evaluation service.
o I have provided proof of proficiency with the English language with a minimum TOEFL score of 500 (paper) or 173 (computer), sent directly from the Educational Testing Service. I used the Cincinnati State school code: 1984.
o I have provided proof of adequate financial support by submitting a signed, official Confidential Declaration and Certification of Finances to the international student advisor at Cincinnati State to verify
o I received an admission letter from Cincinnati State, including my MyCState access code.
o I have submitted an advance tuition deposit fee of $3,500 to the cashier’s office at Cincinnati State.
o I have received an I-20 form from Cincinnati State.
o If I am an F, M, or J visa applicant, I have paid the one-time SEVIS fee of $100 prior to applying for my student visa.
o I have taken the COMPASS test.
