- If you are looking for training classes in emergency preparedness and HAZMAT, industrial training, professional and managerial training, or training for healthcare certifications, check out the courses available at the Workforce Development Center (WDC). WDC provides an array of training programs for non-profits, companies, public sector organizations, and individuals.
What about prerequisites?
The College enforces prerequisite checking. For more information, see the latest College catalog.
Courses without prerequisite requirements may be added to students’ schedules without testing or without an examination of students’ academic preparedness. Cincinnati State offers more than 150 classes that do not require any previous college coursework, or any preparation before you may enroll. Click here for a complete listing.
Non-degree-seeking students who believe they have the appropriate academic preparation equivalent to course prerequisites in the form of earned credits at another college or university are encouraged to bring grade reports or transcripts for examination by Cincinnati State academic advisors or program chairs. Personnel in the appropriate Division offices will determine whether course prerequisites have been met and, if so, will enable the students’ registrations for the desired courses.
For more information about prerequisites, see the College catalog.
