Honors Experience Open House

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College will hold a reception and Open House on Nov. 18 for high school students interested in learning about Cincinnati State’s Honors Experience program. The event will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Main Campus.

The Honors Experience is a complement to Cincinnati State’s academic offerings;high school graduates admitted to the Honors Experience program are eligible to apply for one of the six honors scholarships awarded each year to participants. These merit scholarships cover the full cost of tuition, fees and books.

The Honors Experience also offers enhanced educational opportunities to academically talented, highly motivated students who are admitted to the program. It provides co-curricular enrichment opportunities and social activities designed to create a learning community that supports academic excellence and student success, while fostering close relationships with faculty. Honors participants have special designations on their transcripts.

The Nov. 18 Open House is designed for high school juniors and seniors, as well as teachers and family members. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about the College and meet faculty and students involved with the Honors Experience.
