The Cincinnati State Clifton Campus hosted over 90 participants at New Student Orientation on Saturday, Dec. 10.
The event used a new format that incorporated small-group activities such as a campus scavenger hunt and team-building exercises carried out by new students dressed in a rainbow of Cincinnati State t-shirts. The Orientation also provided information sessions on topics such as career exploration, financial aid, and academic division details, as well as advising for Spring class schedules.
Lunch included conversations between new students and Deans, Program Chairs, Academic Advisors, College Success Coaches, and other faculty and staff members.
The Advising Center & Coaching Center in Enrollment and Student Development thanks Vashti Blackmon, Dewey Clark, Zachary Exume, Darlene Grey, and Dave Merriss for shepherding the Orientation revisions from concept to reality. Equally large thank yous go to the many College volunteers who spent their Saturday with our incoming students.
Volunteers, as well as participants, will receive feedback surveys this week. You may also send feedback to Manager of Coaching Cassandra Scott at email@example.com.
