Cincinnati State Middletown students helped with community clean-up activities in Middletown on Mar. 25 and Apr. 8, as part of a project led by Psychology of Leadership students Jessica Lucas and Crystal Wipperman.

With the help of their instructor, Marianne Niese, the students raised money for group t-shirts and participated in events sponsored by the Middletown ROOTS Project, an organization that promotes community gardening.

The Mar. 25 project involved cleaning up and painting at Sherman Park in Middletown and the Apr. 8 event involved cleaning up and landscaping near the bus depot.
