What are The Summit’s Current Features?

Half price wine selections offered every Friday night.

For guests who wish to enjoy a great bottle of wine, The Summit will also make a selection of its copious wine list available for half price ... every Friday night. Wine pairings are available with each course for an additional charge. Tax and gratuity are not included.

Summit Events

April 16, 2015 – Wine Dinner

The makers of Educated Guess Wines, hosts of the April Wine Dinner, freely acknowledge that when they grow and harvest their grapes, then barrel and age their wines, they’re making an educated guess - as are you when you‘re making your wine selection.  Having Chef Sean Kagy and host Bob Dalic make your pairing eliminates the worry and most of the guesswork.

May 8, 2015 – Creations Cooking Class
A Taste of the Mediterranean in Food and Wine
Laura Landoll, CWS, Advanced Sommelier, CMS, Grand Cru Wine Company

Sean Kagy, Executive Chef, MCI’s Summit Restaurant
Join us for this food and wine pairing class as we explore the cuisines of Italy, Spain, Greece, and Portugal. Taste and learn about varietals from these countries while you enjoy a selection of appetizers prepared for you by Chef Kagy and his students from the Midwest Culinary Institute. Adult Intermediate/Advanced, $75

May 10, 2015 – Mother’s Day Brunch
Chef Kagy and his students will prepare a gourmet brunch buffet with all of Mom’s favorites.  Let her design her own Bloody Mary.  Champagne and full bar also available.

May 19, 2015 – Wine Dinner
Anna Seifried of Seifried Winery, New Zealand comes all the way to the Summit to join Chef Kagy and his students for a fun-filled night of wines from “middle earth!”

June 20, 2015 – Father’s Day Steak and Ale
They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, so get Dad a great steak dinner at the Summit this year and he’ll love you forever! This dinner will be  grilled and served on our patio if weather permits!

June 25, 2015 – Wine Dinner
Save the date for the Summit’s monthly wine dinner.  Bring your graduate to join Chef Kagy and his students for a fun-filled night of great wine and food.
