Athletics /Intramural Sports
Cincinnati State students have the opportunity to participate in various intramural sports and table game tournaments including chess, checkers, table tennis, billiards, volleyball, and basketball. Call (513) 569-5747 for more information.
Cincinnati State maintains a fitness center, equipped with a variety of exercise equipment, including cardio machines and free weights. Brand new athletic performance equipment has just been installed to allow for more intense training and additional training opportunities. Personal fitness trainers are also available to help Cincinnati State students, faculty, and staff meet their health and fitness goals. The Fitness Center is open to all students, faculty, and staff with a valid SurgeCard and a liability waiver on file.

Cincinnati State’s gymnasium may be used for athletic events, community events, or other meetings.
Cincinnati State offers locker rooms for men and women using the College’s swimming pool, fitness center, or gymnasium. The locker rooms, complete with lockers, showers, and saunas are available at designated times to all students, faculty, and staff with a valid SurgeCard. Lockers are available for use on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cincinnati State’s racquetball court is a great place to learn how to play or sharpen your skills. Located in the lower level of the ATLC, racquetball courts are open to all students, faculty, and staff with a valid SurgeCard and a liability waiver on file. Players may bring their own equipment, or borrow equipment from the Game Room in the ATLC. Those interested in using the racquetball court should call ahead or see the game room attendant to be sure a court is available at their desired time.
