Student email
All Cincinnati State students have a Cincinnati State email account, which is accessed through MyCState. Cincinnati State students should check email frequently for important College announcements and communications from faculty, advisors, and service offices. The College considers email an official form of communication with Cincinnati State students.
Computer labs and resources
Open lab
Cincinnati State has many computer labs for specific class use, and an open computer lab available for use by all students.
Location:
ATLC – Rooms 316 and 317
Hours (during the academic term)
8 am – 10 pm M–Th
8 am – 7 pm F
8 am – 2 pm Sat
This computer lab provides a quiet academic environment where students can study, practice skills presented in class, and complete homework assignments. Cell phone usage, food, and beverages are not permitted in the open computer lab.
Student Services Resource Center
The Student Services Resource Center is a great place to register for classes, apply for financial aid, make a payment to the College, check course availability, and conduct your other Cincinnati State business online. A staff member on-site is available to answer your questions, making your visit easy and productive.

Just behind the Welcome Center.

8:30 am – 5 pm M–F
Other computers are available for student use throughout the ATLC building. As long as you have a valid Cincinnati State user name and password, you can log in and get to work from any public computer.
Wi-Fi on campus
Many areas of Cincinnati State’s campus offer free Wi-Fi, so you can bring your laptop to campus and easily get to work. We have complete coverage in the Advanced Learning and Technology Center (ATLC), Health Professions Building (HPB), and Workforce Development Center (WDC). Work in the Main Building has begun, focusing on wings A and B first, then the fourth and second floors. After the Main campus is finished, work at the Harrison campus will begin.
