Real Estate Technology (RE)
The Real Estate Technology program is the right choice for students who are outgoing and flexible, who are looking for a career in sales, management, or finance, and who want a real challenge. This program provides an educational foundation that satisfies the requirements for licensing, as well as future requirements for becoming a real estate broker. Real estate positions are available through local and national real estate firms, financial institutions, insurance companies, and most major corporations. Graduates are prepared as real estate investors and entrepreneurs, who can buy, sell, renovate, and rent residential and commercial properties for their own portfolios or companies. Core courses are offered in the evening only.

- Perform management functions in real estate environments
- Sell residential and /or commercial property

Real estate agent ranked seventeenth on the same list. Pay in this field is based on commission, and top producers earn more than $100,000 per year. Job growth through 2014 is 15%. Real estate entrepreneurs and investors can be extremely profitable. Experienced investors can earn more than one million dollars per year, while newer investors with good business systems easily earn more than $100,000 per year.
